PSL 7: Qalandars crush Multan by 52 runs

Lahore Qalandars have crushed Multan Sultans by 52 runs in the 17th game of Pakistan Super League here at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Sent into bat first, Qalandars had a bad opening start and lost their first wicket on just 5 when Abdullah Shafique was lbw by Anwar Ali. Coming to the crease, Kamran Ghulam made an excellent partnership of 86 with Fakhar. Left-hander Fakhar Zaman smashed 60 runs while Kamran put 42 runs on the scorecard. The perfect partnership was broken at 91 when Kamran went back to the pavilion at the hands of the Abbas Afridi. Mohammad Hafeez with the help of Phil Salt gave a decent target of 182. Hafeez made 26 runs while Salt hammered 26 runs without losing his wicket.
For Sultans, Anwar, Dahani, Abbas Afridi and Imran Tahir took one scalp each.
Chasing the target, Multan openers could not provide a fine start to their team as captain Mohammad Rizwan has gone on just 20 runs. His partner Shan Masood who has been incredible in PSL 7 made only 8 runs. Rashid Khan took the wicket of Rille Rossouw on a duck while Shan Masood didn't produce many runs and went on 29.

For Qalandars, Captain Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Rashid Khan bagged 2 wickets each while Zaman Khan took three wickets.
