Daniel Luca Vettori (born 27 January 1979, Auckland, New Zealand) is a slow left-arm conventional spinner who currently plays for the New Zealand cricket team. He is the youngest player to stand for New Zealand in Tests; having made his debut in 1996/97 at the age of 18.He is an international member of Indian Premier League team the Delhi Daredevils. He has been contributing a vital role for New Zealand test cricket and one day International as well as for T-20 cricket.
He is the 3rd Kiwi bowler to take two hundreds wickets in Test cricket. He turns the ball harshly and has urbanized his variations very delightfully over the years. Vettori has a hard task in front of him of leading a brilliant young group of Kiwi players to greater heights in the near future. Vettori is marry to Mary O'Carroll.
