Salim Malik Made Shocking Claims Regarding Rashid Latif

Salim Malik, the former captain ofPakistan cricket team put serious allegations on Rashid Latif, another former Pakistanicricketer.

Salim Malik said that Rashid Latifcame into the Pakistan cricket team due to the close affiliation with thepolitical party at that time. He revealed that Rashid Latif used to call Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s founder,Altaf Hussain, his father.

The former cricketer claimed thatRashid Latif also conspired against the national team to get captaincy. He saidthat Rashid also put pressure on Ata-ur-Rehman, the former fast bowler, to write theaffidavit against Wasim Akram.

Salim alleged that Rasid also recorded a cassette of Ata’s statement inwhich he was using harsh language against Justice (R) Malik Qayyum, the judicialcommission’s head that heard Ata-ur-Rehman’s case. Salim claimed that Rashidthen gave the cassette to the commission.

Earlier, Ata-ur-Rehman also alleged that Rashid made cassettes of histeammates and utilized them to blackmail them. He also challenged Rashid toanswer his statement but is yet to receive a reply.
