Tasha Smith is an American actress, director and producer who stars in movies and television. She was born in Camden, NJ on February 28, 1971 and became known for her roles as Angela Williams in Tyler Perry's *Why Did I Get Married?* and sequel, and For Better or Worse.
Smith has also featured in the hit shows Empire, The Whole Ten Yards, Daddy's Little Girls, and Addicted, among others, and is a cast member in Couples Retreat. She has also directed episodes of 9-1-1, Black Lightning, P-Valley and The Rookie. She is also the founder of the Tasha Smith Actors Workshop, where she mentors aspiring actors.
