Personal Profile About Adeebul Hasan Rizvi
Syed Adeebul Hasan Rizvi is a Pakistani transplant surgeon, urologist, physician, and philanthropist. He is the founder of the Sindh Institute of Urology and Transplantation (SIUT). He also led Pakistan's first successful infant liver transplant in 2003. He graduated from DMC and later completed postgraduate surgical training in the UK, where the NHS inspired his vision of providing free healthcare. After returning to Pakistan, he established an eight bed urology ward at Civil Hospital Karachi, which later grew into SIUT. He has received the Ramon Magsaysay Award, the WHO Shousha Prize, the Hamdan Award, and Pakistan's Nishan-i-Imtiaz.
