Adeel Hashmi is a Pakistani actor, comedian, filmmaker, social worker, and screenwriter. He is known for his famous Ufone commercials, which earned him the nickname “the Ufone guy.” Over the years, he has become known for his creative work in Pakistani arts and culture and his comical roles in Teen Bata Teen and Ulta Saeeda.

She was born in 1946 in Shimla, India, before migrating with her family to Lahore during the partition of 1947. She is the younger daughter of the legendary poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz and Alys Faiz and the younger sister of painter and actress Salima Hashmi.
