Amika Shail (Gitashree Shil) is an Indian singer, actress, model, and television personality. Born on 12th November 1992 in Howrah, West Bengal, she started her music training from her mother at the age of 5.
Amika began her entertainment career as a child singer and at age of nine she was a cast member in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs. Later, she joined other singing programmes like the Indian Idol and Star Voice of India. She has post-graduate training in Hindustani classical music and is a Sangeet Visharad.
Later, she found her footing in the field of acting and worked on TV serials like Udaan, Divya Drishti, Balveer Returns, Naagin 5, etc. She has also ventured into Hindi cinema and web series films such as Charmsukh, Gandi Baat 5 and Mirzapur 2.
