Anderson .Brandon Paak Anderson (better known as Paak) is an American singer, rapper, drummer, songwriter, record producer and filmmaker. Born in Oxnard, CA on February 8, 1986. He was a popular mix of R&B, hip-hop, soul, funk and rock.
.Paak made a big name for himself when he worked with Dr. Dre and then as a member of the international duo Silk Sonic with Bruno Mars. Their hit song “Leave the Door Open” achieved great success and won several Grammy Awards. He has also produced and released such albums as Malibu, Oxnard, and Ventura which have all enjoyed success.
Beyond music, Anderson .Paak's career has shifted to the film industry. K-Pops! is based on his Korean and African-American heritage, and is a feature film directed by him for the first time, starring his real-life son Soul Rasheed.
He is the husband of Jae Lin Chang, and they have two sons Soul Rasheed and Shine Tariq. In January 2024 he filed for divorce.
