Asad Shafiq is a Pakistani former cricketer, coach, and director of the Hanif Mohammad High Performance Centre in Karachi. He played as a right-handed middle-order batsman. He also bowled occasional right-arm off-break and leg-break deliveries. Asad retired from all forms of cricket in December 2023. After retirement, he joined the PCB Men’s National Selection Committee, having previously served on the women’s committee.

He made his international debut in 2010. Over his career, he played 77 Test matches, 60 ODIs, and 10 T20Is. Domestically, he played for Karachi Whites, Blues, Dolphins, Zebras, Sindh, SNGPL, Habib Bank Limited, Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans, and Galle Gladiators in the LPL.
