On Sunday, October 29th, Asim Jamil passed away in Talamba, Punjab. Asim Jamil, son of Maulana Tariq Jamil, tragically lost his life in Mian Chanu due to a gunshot. According to DSP Mian Chanun Saleem Marth, Maulana Asim Jameel was shot in the chest and was quickly taken to the Talamba Rural Health Center in critical condition, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries. As per Regional Police Officer (RPO) Multan, Captain (Rtd) Sohail Chaudhry, confirmed that Maulana Tariq Jameel's son Asim Jamil had taken his own life. The District Police Officer (DPO) reviewed the CCTV footage. He revealed that Asim Jameel had been undergoing psychiatric treatment for many years and was on medication. The police stated that Asim Jameel asked his employee, Imran, for a pistol and castoff a 30-bore pistol to end his life. Asim Jameel had previously entered into a love marriage which eventually ended in divorce.
