He is an alumnus of the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) and his acting debut was Shuddh Desi Romance (2013), which was released under Yash Raj Films' banner. He then did a series of films like Tevar, Naam Shabana, Bank Chor, Chaman Bahaar and The Great Indian Family. Bhuvan Arora's debut in the crime thriller Farzi on Amazon Prime Video came as a breakthrough role that brought him wide recognition. Later, he was seen in "Chandu Champion", "Amaran" and "Fisaddi" and also made a cameo in the comedy show “Dupahiya”.
