Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina is a Nigerian beauty queen, model, netball player, and law student born in Soweto, South Africa, in 2001. She studied for a Bachelor of Law at Varsity College and entered Miss South Africa 2024, where she reached the Top 16 before leaving the competition during a dispute over her citizenship. She later entered Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 and won the title. Chidimma represented Nigeria at Miss Universe 2024 in Mexico, finishing as first runner-up and receiving the Miss Universe Africa and Oceania title. Her result became Nigeria’s highest placement at Miss Universe.
