Konidela Sivasankara Varaprasad Rao is an Indian actor, producer, dancer, former politician, and television host. He has acted in over 150 Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi films. In 2008, he founded the Praja Rajyam Party, which later merged with the Congress. Chiranjeevi has also served as Union Minister of Tourism and as a Rajya Sabha MP.

He studied at CSR Sharma College in Ongole, holds a B.Com. from Sri Y.N. College, Narsapur, and joined the Madras Film Institute in 1976.
