Esha Singh is an Indian pistol shooter born on January 1, 2005, in Hyderabad, Telangana. She took up shooting as a child and became the youngest senior national champion in the women’s 10m air pistol at 13 in 2018. She later represented India in the women’s 25m pistol at the Paris 2024 Olympics. Esha won the 10m air pistol mixed team title with Shiva Narwal at the 2023 ISSF World Championships. In May 2026, she won the women’s 25m pistol at the Munich World Cup with 43 hits, setting senior and junior world records. She added another World Cup gold in the same event at Hangzhou in July.
Esha Singh Wins Silver
Esha Singh wins silver in the women’s 25m pistol at the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya on September 28. She finished the final with 38 hits before going into shoot-offs with China’s Xiao Jiaruixuan, who took gold. The result added another individual Asian Games medal to Esha’s record. She had also won silver in the women’s 10m air pistol and 25m pistol at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou, which were held in 2023 after being postponed.

Esha Singh father Sachin Singh is a former rally driver who played a major role in her shooting career. Esha has said that he reduced his rallying commitments and later retired from the sport so he could travel with her and support her training. Sachin also set up a paper-practice range at home to help Esha train. Her interest in shooting began after she visited Hyderabad’s Gachibowli shooting range with him when she was young.
