Frank Caprio was an American judge and public servant. Caprio was often referred to as “America’s nicest judge.” He served nearly four decades as chief judge of the Providence Municipal Court and chaired the Rhode Island Board of Governors for Higher Education.
Caprio's TV show “Caught in Providence,” which showed his courtroom clips, gained 2.92 million YouTube subscribers and more than 500 million views by 2022.
