Born on 1 April 1978 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, she grew up in Pakistan and holds a master's degree in IR from Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. She is the host of the long-running current affairs program G for Gharida and has been awarded the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz.
