American television journalist, news anchor, author and media personality Hoda Kotb is best known for her tenure at NBC News and as a former co-anchor of Today. She was born in Norman, Oklahoma, USA on 9 August 1964 and got her broadcasting career started at local television stations before joining NBC in 1998. She was a co-host for Today's 4th hour with Kathie Lee Gifford and became a lead co-host with Savannah Guthrie. Hoda's contract with the Today program was extended until January 2025, but in that month she departed the show's co-anchorage duties. She is also renowned for her books and podcasting.
