Ishrat Abbas Khalil was a Pakistani actor. He worked on radio, stage, and television. He was known for his natural expression and versatile acting. In his career, he acted in nearly 800 Pashto, Hindko, and Urdu plays.

Alongside acting, he worked as a government superintendent until his retirement in 2010. He graduated from Government College Peshawar and completed his master’s in Urdu literature from the University of Peshawar.
