He works as an associate editor and columnist for The Washington Post and serves as an anchor on MSNBC, where he hosts The Saturday/Sunday Show with Jonathan Capehart. He has also been a regular panelist on PBS NewsHour. He won a Pulitzer Prize for Editorial Writing in 1999 as part of the editorial board at the New York Daily News for a campaign to rescue Harlem’s Apollo Theater.
