Kapil Pokhariya is an Indian boxer from Chakarpur village in Udham Singh Nagar district, Uttarakhand. He began boxing during his school years under coach Puran Boro. After success at youth level, he trained at SAI Kashipur and later joined the Indian Army. He now trains at the Army Sports Institute in Pune.
