He has played for clubs in Brazil (Santos, Palmeiras, XV de Jaú, and Coritiba); Japan (Yomiuri FC, Verdy Kawasaki, Yokohama FC, and Fukushima United); Italy (Genoa); Croatia (Dinamo Zagreb); and Australia (Sydney FC).
