Lauralee Bell is an American actress, producer, and writer best known for playing Christine “Cricket” Blair on the long-running CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless. Born on December 22, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, she is the daughter of soap-opera creators William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell.
Bell joined The Young and the Restless in 1983 and gradually became a regular cast member, turning Christine into one of the show's recognizable characters. She also reprised the role on The Bold and the Beautiful. Her other acting credits include Carpool Guy, Past Sins, Mistress Hunter, Nightmare Tenant, and the Ruby television films.
Beyond acting, Bell has created, written, and produced web series including Family Dinner, Just Off Rodeo, and mI promise. Her work on mI promise earned a Daytime Emmy Award, while she received a 2016 Daytime Emmy nomination for acting.
