Major Mohit Sharma was an Indian Army officer. He served in the elite 1 Para (Special Forces) and took part in counter-terrorism operations in Jammu and Kashmir. He served in the Rashtriya Rifles and joined 1 Para SF in 2003. He also worked as an instructor training commandos in Belgaum. He received a Sena Medal in 2005 for an undercover operation.
