His managerial career began at Espanyol from 2009 to 2012. He managed Southampton from 2013 to 2014 and Tottenham Hotspur from 2014 to 2019. He coached Paris Saint-Germain from 2021 to 2022, winning Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. He then coached Chelsea from 2023 to 2024.
