Michael Strahan is an American television personality, journalist and former professional football player. He currently co-anchors ABC’s Good Morning America and serves as an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday.
Born on November 21, 1971, in Houston, Texas, Strahan played college football at Texas A&M University Commerce before getting drafted by the New York Giants in 1993. He played 15 seasons in the NFL as a defensive end, winning Super Bowl XLII and earning an induction into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
After retiring from sports he transitioned to television, co-hosting Live! with Kelly and Michael before joining Good Morning America full-time in 2016.
