Mirza Iqbal Baig is a Pakistani sports journalist, cricket analyst, commentator, and television show host. Mirza Iqbal Baig biography shows that before entering journalism, he briefly worked as a teacher of mathematics and physics.
He began his media career in 1987 as a sports reporter for Radio Pakistan. He hosted programs such as Aalmi Sports Roundup. He later worked as a sports reporter for Daily Jang, Takbeer magazine, and Daily Ummat. From 1999 to 2002, he served as media coordinator for the Pakistan Cricket Board at the National Stadium Karachi.
In the mid-2000s, he joined Geo Super and hosted Bolain Kya Baat Hai. He later moved to PTV Sports in 2012 and joined Express News in 2014, where he hosted Sports Page with Mirza Iqbal Baig. Since 2016, he has been writing columns for Daily Times. In 2021, he was nominated for Best Sports Show Host at the 2nd Pakistan Sports Awards.
