Mohammad Amir is a former Pakistani cricketer who was born on April 13, 1992, in Gujjar Khan, Pakistan. He is a left-arm fast bowler who made his debut for the Pakistan national cricket team in 2009, and quickly gained attention for his impressive pace and swing bowling.

Amir was considered one of the most promising young talents in world cricket, but his career was derailed when he was involved in a spot-fixing scandal during Pakistan's tour of England in 2010. He was banned from cricket for five years and served three months in prison.

After serving his ban, Amir made his comeback to international cricket in 2016 and went on to play in 147 matches across all formats for Pakistan. He was known for his ability to swing the ball both ways at a high pace, and was particularly effective in white-ball cricket.
