Randy George is an American retired four-star general who served as the 41st Chief of Staff of the United States Army from 2023 to 2026. He also served as the 38th vice chief of staff of the Army and as senior military assistant to Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin from 2021 to 2022.
He deployed in Operation Desert Storm, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. The Randy George biography states that he first earned a BS in engineering. Then he earned a master's degree in economics from the Colorado School of Mines and a master's in international security studies from the Naval War College.
