Ranveer Singh Brar is an Indian chef, television personality, restaurateur, and actor. The Ranveer Brar biography states that he studied at HAL School, Lucknow, and volunteered as an apprentice to a local kebab vendor, Munir Ustad. He then joined the IHM Lucknow for formal culinary training and began his career at the Taj Mahal Hotel.
In 2001, he opened a seafood restaurant, Morisco; an Italian restaurant, il Camino; and a small open-air barbeque eatery, Fishtail, at Fort Aguada Beach Resort in Goa. In 2003, he joined the Radisson Blu Hotel in Noida. He later moved to Boston, Massachusetts, and opened the fine dining restaurant Banq. He has hosted several television food shows and has been a MasterChef India judge.
