She made her acting debut as a child artist at the age of seven in her father's film Jaan Hazir Hai. She transitioned to television in 2000 with the serial Sukanya. She gained widespread household recognition for her role as Monisha Sarabhai in the cult comedy sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai.
