Saeed Ahmed, born in October 1, 1937, is a former Pakistani cricketer who later became a preacher and member of Tablighi Jamaat following his retirement. Originally from Jalandhar in British Punjab, Saeed Ahmed was educated at Government Islamia College in Lahore. Saeed Ahmed brother, Younis Ahmed, also represented Pakistan in cricket.
A right-handed middle-order batsman known for his powerful drive and off-break bowling. Saeed captained Pakistan in three drawn Test matches in 1968–69. Saeed Ahmed passed away on March 20, 2024 at the age of 86 years in Lahore, Pakistan. Saeed Ahmed death reason in prolonged illness.
