Samina Khayal Baig is a Pakistani mountaineer and professional climber from Shimshal village in Hunza, Gilgit-Baltistan. Samina Khayal Baig biography tells that she is the first Pakistani and Muslim woman to complete the Seven Summits, the highest peaks on each continent. She started climbing professionally in 2009 and works as a mountain guide and expedition leader in the Himalayas, Hindu Kush, and Karakoram.
She has served as UNDP National Goodwill Ambassador for Pakistan since 2018. She was awarded the Pride of Performance by the Government of Pakistan and is a brand ambassador for the Special Communications Organization (SCO). She also co-founded the Pakistan Youth Outreach Foundation to train young women in mountaineering, skiing, and outdoor sports.
