Samina Khalid Ghurki is a Pakistani politician and a senior leader of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). She has served as an MNA and held several federal cabinet positions, including Minister for Social Welfare and Special Education, Environment, and National Heritage and Integration.
The Samina Khalid Ghurki biography shows that she belongs to the well-known Ghurki political family and has been associated with the Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital in Lahore. She became the first woman elected on a general seat from Lahore after winning the 2002 general election and was re-elected in 2008.
