Dr. Sawera Prakash is a Pakistani politician, medical doctor, and member of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). The Sawera Prakash biography shows that she belongs to Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. She became the first Hindu woman to contest a general seat in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa after filing nomination papers for PK-25 (Buner) in the 2024 general election.
Sawera’s father is a senior PPP worker and social activist in Buner. She earned an MBBS degree from Abbottabad International Medical College in 2022 and completed her house job before entering politics. Before contesting elections, she served as general secretary of the PPP Women's Wing in Buner. During her campaign, she focused on women's education, healthcare, minority rights, youth development, and equal political participation.
