Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy is a Pakistani-born Canadian journalist, filmmaker, and political activist. She directed, wrote, and produced the 3 Bahadur sequel and Sitara: Let Girls Dream, and directed two episodes of Ms. Marvel. She also founded SOC Films and Patakha Pictures, co-founded the Citizens Archive of Pakistan, and initiated the Neela Asmaan art residency program.
