Taufeeq Umar is a former Pakistani international cricketer. After retirement, he served as batting coach of the Pakistan women’s national team since 2023. He also worked as head coach of the Hambantota Bangla Tigers in the Lanka T10 Super League. He has also been involved in occasional domestic coaching and commentary.
He played as an opening batsman. He batted left-handed and bowled right-arm off-break. At the domestic level, he represented Habib Bank Limited, Lahore regional teams, and Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited. His last competitive match was in 2014. He announced his retirement in 2016.
