Personal Profile About Terry Crews
Almost everyone knows Terry Crews as the massive, muscular guy with the loudest laugh on TV, but his actual life story is pretty wild. Born in Flint, Michigan, on July 30, 1968, he actually started out playing professional football in the NFL during the '90s for teams like the Chargers and Rams.
Once he hung up his helmet, he decided to give acting a shot. People instantly fell in love with him because he was this huge, buff guy who wasn't afraid to be completely goofy.
He became a household name playing the super-cheap dad Julius in Everybody Hates Chris, the yogurt-loving lieutenant Terry Jeffords in Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and the crazy President Camacho in Idiocracy. On top of all the acting, he hosts America’s Got Talent and spends a lot of time speaking out about important social causes.
