He joined CBS News in 2016 as a correspondent for CBS Sunday Morning and other network broadcasts before moving to the morning anchor desk in 2019. He is also the author of a memoir, The Last Pirate: A Father, His Son, and the Golden Age of Marijuana, published in 2014.
Dokoupil was born on December 24, 1980, in Connecticut.
