PAK vs SL Test Series: Hasan Ali Show Stunts During Rain Break

Pakistan’s talented fast bowler, Hasan Ali, added a touch of amusement during a rain break in the ongoing Test match against Sri Lanka at the iconic Sinhalese Sports Club. A delightful video of Hasan Ali lying down on the rainwater-soaked covers went viral on social media, capturing the hearts of cricket enthusiasts worldwide.

Hasan Ali’s exuberance on the Sri Lanka tour not limited to this incident alone. In a previous video, he was playfully going under the covers at the Sinhalese Sports Club, showcasing his cheerful spirit despite not getting a chance to play in the Test series.

The 58-second clip, shared on Twitter, shows Hasan Ali thoroughly enjoying the rain shower as he reclines on the covers. The caption accompanying the video reads, “How can you not love this guy, Hasan Ali? Having fun in the rain… fabulous pictures.”

Though Hasan Ali did not feature in the two Test matches against Sri Lanka, he made a significant impact during the practice match between Pakistan and SLCBP, securing three wickets in two innings and contributing a useful 28 runs with the bat.

While luck did not favor him during the ICC World Test Championship series, leading to him not making it into Pakistan’s playing XI, Hasan Ali’s high spirits remain evident as he continues to make the most of his time on the tour.

The ongoing second Test match has plagued by persistent rain, allowing only 10 overs of play on the second day. The match, which commenced on July 24, witnessed Sri Lanka bowled out for 166 in their first innings. In response, Pakistan managed to reach 178/2 in 38.3 overs before the rain halted play.

As Pakistan currently holds a 1-0 lead in the two-match series, the outcome of the second Test will determine whether they can secure the series or if Sri Lanka can level the scores. Although Hasan Ali’s cricketing skills haven’t tested in this series, his lighthearted rain escapades have certainly brought joy and smiles to cricket enthusiasts across the globe.
