Narrated 'Amr bin Shu'aib: from his father, from his grandfather that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Regarding the Mawadih; five, five.

حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ،‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ،‏‏‏‏ أَخْبَرَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِيهِ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ جَدِّهِ،‏‏‏‏ أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي الْمَوَاضِحِ،‏‏‏‏ خَمْسٌ خَمْسٌ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ وَهُوَ قَوْلُ:‏‏‏‏ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَالشَّافِعِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدَ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق،‏‏‏‏ أَنَّ فِي الْمُوضِحَةِ خَمْسًا مِنَ الْإِبِلِ.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ” «موضحہ» ( ہڈی کھل جانے والے زخم ) ۱؎ میں پانچ اونٹ ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اور اہل علم کے نزدیک اسی پر عمل ہے، سفیان ثوری، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ کا قول یہی ہے کہ «موضحہ» ( ہڈی کھل جانے والے زخم ) میں پانچ اونٹ ہیں۔
