Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: The blood-money for the fingers on the hands and (the toes of) the feet is the same: Ten camels for each finger.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو النَّحْوِيِّ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ فِي دِيَةِ الْأَصَابِعِ،‏‏‏‏ الْيَدَيْنِ وَالرِّجْلَيْنِ سَوَاءٌ،‏‏‏‏ عَشْرٌ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ لِكُلِّ أُصْبُعٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب،‏‏‏‏ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى،‏‏‏‏ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ،‏‏‏‏ وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَى هَذَا عِنْدَ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ سُفْيَانُ،‏‏‏‏ وَالشَّافِعِيُّ،‏‏‏‏ وَأَحْمَدُ،‏‏‏‏ وَإِسْحَاق.

عبداللہ بن عباس رضی الله عنہما کہتے ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے انگلیوں کی دیت کے بارے میں فرمایا: ”دونوں ہاتھ اور دونوں پیر برابر ہیں، ( دیت میں ) ہر انگلی کے بدلے دس اونٹ ہیں“۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- اس سند سے ابن عباس کی حدیث حسن صحیح اور غریب ہے، ۲- اہل علم کا عمل اسی پر ہے، سفیان ثوری، شافعی، احمد اور اسحاق بن راہویہ اسی کے قائل ہیں۔
