Narrated 'Aishah: The Prophet (ﷺ) would eat melon with fresh dates. He said: There is something on about this from Anas. [Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Gharib. Some of them reported it form Hisham bin 'Urwah from his father in Mursal form from the Prophet (ﷺ), without mentioning from 'Aishah in it, And Yazid bin Ruman reported this Hadith from 'Urwah, from 'Aishah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْخُزَاعِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يَأْكُلُ الْبِطِّيخَ بِالرُّطَبِ ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ وَفِي الْبَاب عَنْ أَنَسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ وَرَوَاهُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ أَبِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مُرْسَلٌ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِيهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ وَقَدْ رَوَى يَزِيدُ بْنُ رُومَانَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے روایت ہے کہ   نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تازہ کھجور کے ساتھ تربوز کھاتے تھے۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن غریب ہے، ۲- بعض لوگوں نے اسے «عن هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم» کی سند سے مرسل طریقہ سے روایت کی ہے، اس میں عائشہ کے واسطہ کا ذکر نہیں کیا ہے، یزید بن رومان نے اس حدیث کو عروہ کے واسطہ سے عائشہ سے روایت کی ہے، ۳- اس باب میں انس سے بھی روایت ہے۔
