Narrated 'Aishah: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Indeed among the believers with the most complete faith is the one who is the best in conduct, and the most kind to his family.

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيل ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ الْحَذَّاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ:‏‏‏‏ إِنَّ مِنْ أَكْمَلِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِيمَانًا أَحْسَنُهُمْ خُلُقًا وَأَلْطَفُهُمْ بِأَهْلِهِ ،‏‏‏‏ وفي الباب عن أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ،‏‏‏‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ وَلَا نَعْرِفُ لِأَبِي قِلَابَةَ سَمَاعًا مِنْ عَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَقَدْ رَوَى أَبُو قِلَابَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ رَضِيعٍ لِعَائِشَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَائِشَةَ غَيْرَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَأَبُو قِلَابَةَ اسْمُهُ:‏‏‏‏ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ زَيْدٍ الْجَرْمِيُّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ ذَكَرَ أَيُّوبُ السَّخْتِيَانِيُّ أَبَا قِلَابَةَ فَقَالَ:‏‏‏‏ كَانَ وَاللَّهِ مِنَ الْفُقَهَاءِ ذَوِي الْأَلْبَابِ.

ام المؤمنین عائشہ رضی الله عنہا کہتی ہیں کہ   رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ”سب سے زیادہ کامل ایمان والا مومن وہ ہے جو ان میں سب سے زیادہ اچھے اخلاق والا ہو، اور جو اپنے بال بچوں پر سب سے زیادہ مہربان ہو“ ۱؎۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث صحیح ہے، ۲- اور میں نہیں جانتا کہ ابوقلابہ نے عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے سنا ہے، ۳- ابوقلابہ نے عائشہ کے رضاعی بھائی عبداللہ بن یزید کے واسطہ سے عائشہ رضی الله عنہا سے اس حدیث کے علاوہ بھی اور حدیثیں روایت کی ہیں، ۴- اس باب میں ابوہریرہ اور انس بن مالک رضی الله عنہما سے بھی احادیث آئی ہیں۔
