حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاق، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَحْوَهُ. قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى:‏‏‏‏ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وقَالَ إِسْحَاق بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ:‏‏‏‏ أَحْسَنُ شَيْءٍ رُوِيَ فِي تَطَوُّعِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي النَّهَارِ هَذَا. وَرُوِي عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُضَعِّفُ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ. وَإِنَّمَا ضَعَّفَهُ عِنْدَنَا وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏لِأَنَّهُ لَا يُرْوَى مِثْلُ هَذَا عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِلَّا مِنْ هَذَا الْوَجْهِ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏وَعَاصِمُ بْنُ ضَمْرَةَ هُوَ ثِقَةٌ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ. قَالَ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقَطَّانُ:‏‏‏‏ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ:‏‏‏‏ كُنَّا نَعْرِفُ فَضْلَ حَدِيثِ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَلَى حَدِيثِ الْحَارِثِ.

اس سند سے بھی   علی رضی الله عنہ نے نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے اسی طرح روایت کرتے ہیں۔ امام ترمذی کہتے ہیں: ۱- یہ حدیث حسن ہے، ۲- اسحاق بن ابراہیم بن راہویہ کہتے ہیں کہ نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے دن کی نفل نماز کے سلسلے میں مروی چیزوں میں سب سے بہتر یہی روایت ہے، ۳- عبداللہ بن مبارک اس حدیث کو ضعیف قرار دیتے تھے۔ اور ہمارے خیال میں انہوں نے اسے صرف اس لیے ضعیف قرار دیا ہے کہ اس جیسی حدیث نبی اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے صرف اسی سند سے۔ ( یعنی: عاصم بن ضمرہ کے واسطے سے علی رضی الله عنہ سے ) مروی ہے، ۴- سفیان ثوری کہتے ہیں: ہم عاصم بن ضمرہ کی حدیث کو حارث ( اعور ) کی حدیث سے افضل جانتے تھے۔
