Waki' bin Hudus narrated that his paternal uncle Abu Razin said: I said: 'O Messenger of Allah, will we see Allah on the Day of Resurrection? And what is the sign of that in His creation?' He said: 'O Abu Razin, do each of you not see the moon individually?' I said: 'Of course.' He said: 'Allah is Greater, and that is His sign in His creation.'

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏أَنْبَأَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ يَعْلَى بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ وَكِيعِ بْنِ حُدُسٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏عَنْ عَمِّهِ أَبِي رَزِينٍ، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَكُلُّنَا يَرَى للَّهَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ؟ وَمَا آيَةُ ذَلِكَ فِي خَلْقِهِ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ يَا أَبَا رَزِينٍ أَلَيْسَ كُلُّكُمْ يَرَى الْقَمَرَ مُخْلِيًا بِهِ ؟ قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ قُلْتُ:‏‏‏‏ بَلَى، ‏‏‏‏‏‏قَالَ:‏‏‏‏ فَاللَّهُ أَعْظَمُ وَذَلِكَ آيَتُهُ فِي خَلْقِهِ .

ابورزین رضی اللہ عنہ کہتے ہیں کہ   میں نے عرض کیا: اللہ کے رسول! کیا ہم اللہ تعالیٰ کو قیامت کے دن دیکھیں گے؟ اور اس کی اس کے مخلوق میں کیا نشانی ہے؟ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: ابورزین! کیا تم میں سے ہر ایک چاند کو اکیلا بلا کسی روک ٹوک کے نہیں دیکھ لیتا ہے؟ ، میں نے کہا: کیوں نہیں، آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا: اللہ اس سے زیادہ عظیم ہے، اور اس کی مخلوق میں یہ ( چاند ) اس کے دیدار کی ایک نشانی ہے ۔
