Test your vision at Hashmanis Hospital - Pakistan’s First Eye Hospital in a Mall

Does the concept of having an eye hospital in a mall is surprising for you? Well, it is now a reality and the credit goes to the management of Hashmanis who have introduced Pakistan’s first eye hospital in a shopping mall. Now, people can also avail their surgical facilities and round the clock eye consultation at LuckyOne Mall Karachi.

A dedicated team of professional doctors with a high level of skills and expertise will serve visitors seven days a week. Currently, Hashmanis Hospital is offering Cataract at the premises but is determined to launch LASIK and Femto LASIK in just a few months. A dedicated parking space is also available inside the Mall’s basement for patients or visitors.

There is no doubt that having a clear vision is one of the great blessings from Allah as they allow us to see his beautiful world. However, the dilemma is that eye diseases in Pakistan are rapidly increasing due to health, lifestyle, and environmental issues. Now, over 8 million people are dealing with eye health problems.

The role of eye care providers became more crucial after the rising number of people with impaired vision. Although, different eye care clinics are fulfilling their responsibility but no one can deny the contribution of Hashmanis Hospital in this regard. They have a proven experience of over 35 years with a presence from the early 80s. The best part is that they are the only hospital in Pakistan that are providing five OCT scanning services with advanced technology.

Hashmanis Hospital is also offering free of cost treatment to the underprivileged people of society. Each year, they conduct 6,000 free surgeries with the assistance of Hashmanis Medical Welfare Foundation. They have seven hospitals across Sindh along with the 15 collection units in the country and are the first ones who introduced confocal microscopy, iTrace, OCT Angiography, and OCT in Pakistan. They remained their tradition of being a trendsetter and have achieved another milestone by introducing Pakistan’s first eye hospital in the shopping mall.

On 7th February 2021, Hashmanis Hospital organized a 6x6 Challenge to test people’s eyesight. They attracted thousands of visitors through different fun-filled activities. People from different age groups including children enjoyed them a lot.

There was a basketball and football challenge in which the aim was to hit without missing the target. Participants also tried their luck by spinning the Wheel of Fortune and won several prizes. They also won the bumper prize of free Lasik surgeries through a lucky draw.

The main highlight of the event was the provision of free eye tests and consultations. Hashmanis's team of professional experts counseled people about their eye health. The presence of CEO Lucky One Mall, Mr. Sohail Tabba as the chief guest along with the participation of several renowned personalities also made the event more splendid.

Chairman Hashmanis Group of Hospitals, Dr. Sharif Hashmani inaugurated the event and distributed gift hampers and free LASIK procedure as a bumper prize offer whereas Group CEO Arsalan Hashmani shared his vision behind the bold initiative to open Pakistan's first eye hospital in a shopping mall. Different print and digital media outlets covered the entire event.

It is good to see that Hashmanis is offering all eye care services to people while they are doing shopping. We can hope that other eye care providers will also follow Hashmanis's footsteps and will come up with convenient healthcare options.
