Brief history of Pakistan car Industry:

In 2005-2006, under the government of President G.Pervaiz Musharraf, many car companies were introduced in Pakistan, hence this period is known as the golden period. One of the companies named ADAM motors launched a few new cars but the production was halted in 3-4 years. Why we need electric cars:

According to the DICE foundation chairman Dr Khursheed Quraishi, we need electric cars for a multitude of reasons. One of them being to combat climate change as we know that the car is eco friendly and limits the fossil fuels. It also exploit the engineering capability of our young engineers which in the long run, will increase demand and opportunities for Pakistani Engineers. It’s introduction will bring prosperity to our economy, which will help Pakistan to establish it’s position among other developed countries of the world.

Details of NURE-75:

It is a 5 seats, 5 door car with all the basic car functions including an A-C, bluetooth, reverse camera and hopefully two air bags. It is equipped with 35kilo watt battery with charging time of 7-8 hours at home socket at 220 volts. It possesses 2 driving modes, eco and sports.

The car is solely designed by Pakistani engineers as Dr. Khursheed also said that the entire vehicle control was also designed in Pakistan.
