Remains of Europe's largest predatory dinosaur discovered in Portugal
Scientists in Portugal have discovered a new species of dinosaur --
possibly the largest land predator of any kind ever found in Europe.
Paleontologists Christophe Hendrickx and Octávio Mateus of Universidade
Nova de Lisboa and Museu da Lourinhã in Portugal say the 33-foot-long
dinosaur called Torvosaurus gurneyi was the scourge of Jurassic Europe,
Reuters reported."It was indeed better not to cross the way of this
large, carnivorous dinosaur," Hendrickx said. "Torvosaurus gurneyi was
obviously a super predator feeding on large prey like herbivorous
dinosaurs." |

A high-protein diet like the meat-heavy Paleo diet is linked to cancer
and early death among middle-aged people, according to a study published

This Mercedes S-Class Was Painted With 1,000 Sheets Of Gold Leaf
I'm not talking about any paint or wrap this time as the Carlsson CS50
Versailles is indeed adorned with more than 1,000 sheets of wafer-thin
gold leaf. It takes 200 man hours and a squirrel-hair brush to achieve
such class. And it's going to China, of course. Based on the flagship
Mercedes, the Versailles was "specifically developed for China's
ultra-wealthy "'Taipan' clients; the new 'royalty' of the Middle
Kingdom." And those ultra-wealthy Chinese must love the thing because
Carlsson has sold ten of the planned 25 in advance.

The world's toughest golf hole
Forget your local pitch and putt, this mammoth Par 3 is one of golf's
greatest challenges - and that's just getting to the tee! The Extreme
19th is the world's longest par 3, measuring 391 yards, and challengers
can only access the tee by helicopter. Sat atop South Africa's Hanglip
Mountain, at 400 metres tall it is also the globe's highest hole,
meaning it takes almost 30 seconds for any tee shot to reach the
Africa-shaped green below. Part of the Legend Golf Resort, situated in
South Africa's Waterberg mountain range, the course has been designed by
18 of the globes top players, including Justin Rose and Retief Goosen.
