About the Author - Umera Ahmed
Umera Ahmed is a Pakistani Urdu novelist and screenwriter from Sialkot. She studied English Literature at Murray College and later taught English at Army Public College before leaving teaching to focus on writing. Her writing career began in 1998 when her stories started appearing in Urdu digests. Amar Bail was published in Shuaa Digest from March 2000 to March 2003.
