Afaq Ahmed is a Pakistani politician and the leader of the Mohajir Qaumi Movement (Haqiqi) (MQM-H). He was born on 22 March 1962 in Karachi, Sindh, into a Hyderabadi Muhajir family. The Afaq Ahmed biography shows that he studied at the University of Karachi, and while still a student, he joined the All Pakistan Muttahidda Students Organization (APMSO). In 1992, he left the MQM and started his own political party, MQM-H, to represent his community’s interests. Over the years, he has remained active in Pakistani politics through his party.
